 New Orleans, Louisiana fishing boat charter guides for Speckled Trout and Redfish, deep sea sport fishing trips, bayou swamp marsh tours, all inclusive fish and golfing vacations by Griffin Fishing Charters. We are located just 30 minutes south of New Orleans, Louisiana in the little fishing village of Lafitte. We fish the shallow, salt water marshes from Lafitte, La. to Grand Isle, La. and the Gulf of Mexico. The average depth of water that we fish in is 4 feet, so no one ever gets sea sick. In fact we tell our guests that if you fall over board, "don't panic; just stand up!"
 All of our fishing charters are private and include everything that you need for a fun day on the water. We provide out of state license, rods, reels, bait, tackle, ice, lunch and soft drinks. You and your guests will enjoy 6 to 7 hours with one of our professional fishing guides. Our guides do not fish unless you invite them to. They will assist you in every way to make your trip more enjoyable and memorable. When you return to the dock we will clean and pack your fish to take home.
All of our boats are 24 foot center console bay boats, powered by 200 plus HP motors. These are shallow draft boats that can go into as little as 2 feet of water. We fish up to 4 people per boat and have up to 10 boats available with a 30 day notice.
We offer 1 and 2 bedroom furnished apartments, with 4 to 6 beds in each one. Every apartment has a full kitchen, coffee pot, cable TV, towels, linens and cookware. While we don't pretend to be a 4 star hotel, we do offer clean comfortable accommodations that are only a few steps from the water. We also have a large covered dock for you to relax and fish on. Our camp is private and not open to the general public to assure you and your guests a quality experience.

We will be fishing the coastal marshes and shorelines on both the East and West side of the Mississippi River from Port Sulphur to Venice, La. Nonresident Licenses are provided at a very low cost. Louisiana has a liberal limit on redfish ( 5 per person per day); must be over 16 inches and only one of the 5 can be 27 inches or longer. Speckled trout limit (25 per person per day); must be over 12 inches. Cabin accommodations are available (sleeps 4 to 6 people). Local motel reservations can also be arranged.
