Lake Dancy, May 2005

We have gotten at least a dozen reports from different groups that have gone to Dancy in the past couple of weeks and all have come back with huge smiles on their faces! This is one lake that any bass fishermen who loves to catch fish in the 6 to 8lb range all day long needs to see. Loaded with timber and it has some grass along with deep water and rockpiles. Plastic is the best bet on the lake right now with 10 inch Zoom Ol' Monsters producing several fish in the 8lb range. 8" Lizards in Watermelon Red or JuneBug will put some big fish in the boat also. Flip the timber in the lake in about 10 foot of water with a 1oz. Oldhams or Davis jig and hang on because mama is waitin down in there and these fish are STRONG!!
