MOBILE DELTA JUNE 2005

Launched on the Causeway at noon just after high tide. Water very high, south wind at 10mph, clear skies and air temp 85+. I fished hard with all types of artificials for three hours and only caught one small fishl. Water temp 85 when I started and 88 when I quit at 3PM. Lots of spec/flounder/red fishermen but few bass fishermen on the water today. The heavy rains the past few days has not muddied the water. Even in the rivers the water visibility is 1 foot or better. The bass must be feeding on shrimp, which I saw plenty of, because they were not interested
