GULF OF MEXICO JUNE 2005Charter Boat Deliverance Dauphin Island , AL USAIt has been a couple of weeks since I have posted a report. We have been burning the candle at both ends here lately. We ran several overnight trips and along with a bunch of day trips. Fishing has been real good with limits of snapper (our biggest being 25.5lbs) and amberjack along with a few grouper, scamp, triggerfish and beeliners. On one of our overnight trips we had 7 yellowfin tuna two of witch were right at 100lbs. Along with plenty of blackfin. Our last overnight trip was Sunday and Monday witch turned out to be plagued with severe thunder storms. But we still managed to catch a nice mess of blackfin and plenty of bottom fish and A.J.'s. Fishing has been great but I have noticed a bitt of a slow down over the past few trips. We have had to fish more spots and run further to catch our fish. I guess its the typical summer pattern. Its no problem to catch our fish we just have to work a little harder. Check out some of the photo's of our recent trips below and visit our web site for even more pics and info. We have some open days in June so call Hope to set up your trip before the dates are gone. We are also booking trips for the upcoming tuna season in Venice, La. Good Luck And Good Fishing INDEX: |
