Wow! 18 bags over 20 lbs. in the Donny Mac tournament, and it took 16+ to receive a check. My partner and I managed to catch 19.15 lbs to finish in 20th place. However, we had the chance to have 24+, but we couldn’t get three big ones in the boat. 28+ took top honors with 26+, 25+, 24+ following. The big weights were caught deep, and our fish came off the Booyah jig in the prototype color that I have been experimenting with. If we could ever get some stable weather the jig bite will really improve and we could really catch’em. I have Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday open if anyone is interested.
