PICKWICK JUNE 2005Submitted by Jimmy/J&J Professional Guide ServiceDate Fished: 6/14/05 This report is for Monday morning. I fished a half day trip with two clients. It was fairly slow in terms of numbers but the quality of bites was good. In four hours, we caught 7 bass, lost two and broke one big smallmouth off. Our best five would have gone about 14lbs. Our big fish was a 4.5lb smallmouth. Of our best five, four were smallmouth. Our most productive lures were a YUM Houdini Shad and a YUM Houdini worm rigged on a Shakey head. I have Saturday evening open on Guntersville if anyone is interested. Also, we have several dates open during the last week of June and the first week of July. If anyone is interested in a trip, give me a call. Finally, the new color of Bomber Deep Flat A that has so productive this year is now available in area stores. This is the Sun Perch color. This color represents bream, crawfish, perch, etc equally well. Since the first of this year, I know of tournaments won from Guntersville through Pickwick plus Weiss on this crankbait. West End Chevron (www.bassbuckandduck.com) has a number of these lures coming in this week. Thanks, Jimmy
