GUNTERSVILLE JUNE 2005Subject: Guntersville, AlabamaSubmitted by Jimmy/J&J Professional Guide Service Date Fished: 6/13/05 This report is for Thursday and Friday. I fished a half day trip Thursday evening with one client. It started out pretty tough, as no current was running. When the current, picked up at 5pm, so did the fishing. By dark, we had landed about 12 fish and lost 8-9 more. The largest was 5.5lbs. In addition, my client broke off one very heavy fish. Our most productive lures were a Pop-R and a Super Spook Jr. On Friday morning, I fished a half day trip with three clients, a dad and two young children (7&9 years old). It was cool. We had a number of topwater bites and each child caught their first bass. The big fish was about 3.5lbs. The coolest deal of the morning was when we fished the same milfoil point on which we broke off the big fish the evening before. The youngest client was working a Tiny Torpedo and got a major flush. A fish over 6lbs came up jumping twice and then broke his line. When it did and went back down, the Pop-R that got broke off the day before floated up. I have half day trips available on Friday morning and Saturday evening if anyone is interested. Thanks Jimmy J&J Professional Guide Service INDEX: |
