MOBILE DELTA JUNE 2005

We fished the 2 tournaments at live oak sat. and got our backsides spanked. Over 24lbs. to win and a # of 12 and 14lbs sacks. we rode and rode for 123nm. for 3 keepers. we never could figure the bite out as we found some fish but they were striking short on plastics.A friend in the same area had 12lbs.. The water was real high for a 18ft. river reading but it was backed up by the tombigbee and looked to me like about maybe a 24ft. reading.Maybe next time the long run will work out. Our fish came on jigs and plastics.
