HARRIS FEB. 2001

Right now fishing on Harris is slow but with the warmer temps the bass are trying to move up a little more each day . Best bet is main lake and secondary points up the Big and Little Tallapoosa with spinnerbait and crankbait . Water temps avg 48* to 52* right now but if warmer nites prevail for next few days that will raise it into the upper 50's and the bite will really take off. Fish should move to backs of pockets and all you'll need then is plenty of trick worms and flukes , and a spinnerbait .Lake level is 8.5 ft low and water clarity is 3ft on upper end and 5 to 6 ft on lower end .
