We caught some nice snapper at a rig about 11 miles out in 70' of water this past Saturday. The lane and red snapper fell to squid and cigar minnows near the bottom. The mangrove came up behind the boat and took a free lined cigar minnow I had out for kings. We threw back many more undersized snapper and had several break off in the rig. We caught one large king on a hardtail only to have it cut in half along side the boat.
