LAY LAKE JULY 2005

I fished Lay today til about Lunch checking 8 or 10 location's for a tournament Saturday . The upper end had a good stain and current was strong . I located fish on river ledges, rock piles and a few points. I did not stay on anything longer than a few cast . I did however sit on one rock pile down the lake and catch 10 keeper sized spots on jighead/worm combo's and a few on fish head spins . I also fished some crankbaits and carolina rigs . Fish seemed to be in 8' to 14' feet of water . I fished Green Glitter worms for most all my bites. Good Fishing and God bless !
