GULF COAST JULY 2005

The Dorado left out on Saturday at midnight for a 40 hour trip with Carl and crew. The first day we caught snapper, trigger, and grouper in the morning and then moved on offshore for the afternoon. We ended up with a nice dolphin, tuna, and jumped a 250# blue marlin. Monday morning started out with our first yellowfin before all of our lines were out. We followed our first tuna with a double header of nice dolphin. We had wahoo, tuna, and big dolphin before 8:30 AM. Before heading in, we ended up tagging and releasing a 350# Blue Marlin. There was alot of action on this trip!!

Tuesday, we had Justin Thomas and crew for a 10 hour trip. The fish were alot tougher to get usual, but we still managed to bring in a limit of snapper, lane snapper, triggers, and red grouper.

Wednesday, we had John Lynch and his crew for their annual Dorado trip. They too had a limit of snapper up to 20#, king mackrel, triggers, lane snapper, beeliners, and a 150# blackfin shark.

Friday, we had the Logan Machine Works guys for a 12 hour trip. We went on out about 52 miles to try to get AJs. We did land 2, with the largest weighing in at 45#, along with their limit of snapper, beeliners, triggers, and a barracuda.
