GUNTERSVILLE APRIL 2008Capt. Chris JacksonFins-N-Grins Freshwater Adventures 205-706-2425 http://www.finsngrinsfishing.com "no man ever died wishing he had spent more time at the office." -Malcom Forbes Subject: Neely Henry, Alabama Submitted by FINS -N- GRINS FRESHWATER ADVENTURES Date Fished: 3/31/2008 Water Clarity: 0 Well I got over to the Coosa River today. We fished areas lower section of the lake in the AM then got a bite to eat and fished up river in the afternoon. The morning bite was alot of fun with great numbers working Jackall Bonnie (golden Shiner) on points and edge or grass lines. Also had a couple on the Mud Sucker(same color). It was alot of fun getting a top water bite. When we did get some sun and lost the top water bite we then moved to the docks and worked the wacky jig head with the 4.8 flick shake worm(junebug). had a couple of decent fish in the 3 lb range but nothing larger. All the fish seemed to be on the outside edge of the brush piles and docks. In the afternoon we worked laydowns off the river banks with MC60 crankbaits and the flick shake boating a couple of more fish. The better bite seemed to be in the morning in the shallow areas of the points leading to flat areas. I will be back on Guntersville the rest of the week to work on bigger fish but the numbers were alot of fun to catch. I still have some open days in April and booking for May and June has already started. Drop me a line if you are interested in a trip. Have a great week. See you on the water. God Bless Phil.4:13
