LAKE RUSSELL IS DOWN 2.3 FEET, 60 DEGREES

Bass fishing is very good for both the spots and largemouth all over the lake. Most anglers are catching quick limits on jerk baits and Senko’s on the main lake and secondary points. It’s hard to beat a green worm on a shakey head to. Expect to see more and more bass moving up to the shallows this weekend. Beaver Dam, Rocky River and the northern most part of the Savannah River are getting hammered by tournament anglers. The top water bite has really picked up this past week and should continue for the next few weeks. Use the X-Rap’s, Skitter Walk’s, Terminator spinner baits and Stanley jigs.
