LOGAN MARTIN APRIL 2008Date Fished: 4/28/2008Water Temperature: 70 Water Clarity: 6 inches Spotsticker Baits had a two boat trip today with a great family from Canada . The Charlison family flew in for the race in Talladega and stayed one extra day to enjoy some coosa river fishing before returning home on Tuesday . Rusty Burroughs and Dale McCullars headed up the trip spending the day fishing spotsticker jigheads tipped with ss magic hand poured worms for the spotted bass that swim in Logan Martin . They also found the senko to work on some pretty good largemouth in the shallows . The two boats combined for near 40 bass with totals of the best 5 around 13 to 15 pounds each . The guides reported the fish coming from as shallow as 2 foot of water up to as deep as 10 feet of water . The guy's said they made some new friend's and reported that the Charlison's hoped to make it back for the fall race and do a little more fishing on Lake Logan Martin . Rusty and Dale both combined to tell me how much they enjoyed the stories these folks told and what nice people they were to have in the boat. We hope the coosa river spots and largemouth gave them a lasting memory ! Good Fishing and God Bless !
