We’ve all heard of the one, two punch, a good combination of a left and a right that will usually knock someone out. Well, with 2 hurricanes back to back we know what it fells like down here in Lafitte, La. Here’s the good news! We got knocked to our knees, but we got up.
We had a lot of damage and as I write this we are 30% backup and running.
I usually try to give everyone tips on how to catch lots of red fish all over the Gulf coast, the reality is lots of the gulf coast just isn’t here any more, the buildings that is. What is left here, are a lot of hard working people trying to put their lives back together.
From Alabama to Mississippi to Louisiana we are coming back. We are not standing in line with our hands out, we are not standing around complaining how tough things are, WE are working everyday to come back bigger and better than ever!
I’ve talked to guides all over the Gulf Coast and they all say that they WILL be back.
In our area the “catching” is great! All that you’ve heard about the bad water is NOT true. Louisiana Wild Life and fisheries has been here and done water and oxygen test, its all good!
The red fish are plentiful and the trout are everywhere! We do need your help though, we need you to come fishing, we want to work, we have 7 guides that are ready to go get um! We have some great Cajun food waiting on you and some mean old red fish that are ready to give you a great fight!
Last and most important of all, let me say thank you, thank you for all of your prayers, your calls and e mails, it’s what has kept us going through all of this, THANK YOU!
